I met Jay couple years ago by starting a claim from storm damaged. He does extraordinary work. He takes the time to explain every step of the process filing a claim or not. He kept it very simple and explained in detail the things I did not know. Im talking about values and loyalty to your work and word. Look no further, he stopped by out the blue today to fix a small dent in my gutter. He said he would and he did. In today's market that is a rarity. My family thanks you for the perfect looking roof & windows, with awesome pricing. I always say proof is in the pudding. Try this company for yourself. You will be grateful you did. Man of his word! God Bless

I had a deck expanded and rebuilt with Trex, the roof redone, and a drainage wall poured and he did an outstanding job. During scheduling, he suggested replacing the railings on the deck which I had not even thought about. He suggested it because the price was very good at the time and he suggested a wrought iron spindle that he was able to get at a price damn near the same as replacing the broken standard wood spindles we had planned on doing. That suggestion changed everything about how the project turned out. That railing suggestion makes the whole house stand out now. He also pointed out an unnecessary expense with our composite deck choice with a better suited alternate that saved us a few thousand dollars. I highly recommend Smith and Benningfield.

Got a fairly complicated job done in one day. Kept me up to date while they were working and sent me pictures of what was going on. I would definitely recommend them.

Top notch work with courtesy, compassion, and commitment to excellence, they will be my first call for any construction needs.

Smith and Benningfield Construction have really gone above and beyond in my home. Their etiquette and attention to detail have impressed me. The way they were on time and brought value to everything they touched. Jay and Mike really brought their hard work and dedication to my project till it was completed. They build a breakfast nook, which is impeccable! They also helped me tighten up loose end around the house making my house look tight and right. I would suggest these fellas for any project large or small. They won’t disappoint!

Smith and Benningfield was great to work with on our kitchen remodel. They took our ideas and ran with them, and they found great deals on appliances and countertops. The workers were very respectful of our home, and any delays were not caused by them but by delays on shipping appliances. The whole process was smooth. Totally recommend! Everything looks wonderful.

Jay is such a professional! He replaced our deck on our cabin and his team did great work. He was on site sending me photos, making recommendations and consistently updating me on the progress. Highly recommend!

Second time using these guys for work and they did a great job on my tired old driveway. They did the work for a fair price and got it done quickly and correctly. Would highly recommend them for your general contracting needs.

If anyone can vouch for Smith Benningfield it is probably me. Simply put, Jay is the best contractor I have ever worked with and at this point I don't even want to try anybody else because we have a long standing relationship. If I call him, I won't have to call anyone else. He works well with everyone we've recommended him to. We've done at least a dozen projects varying from deck builds, interior renovations, roofing, flooring, structural, exterior, drywall, paint. There isn't a job we have offered that he wasn't up for. Jay has always been a very good communicator and has a good in-work process. He's very easy to talk to. His prices have always been very fair, well laid out quotes, and his billing system is easy. I always look forward to working with Jay and Mike when a project opportunity comes.

I highly recommend this company for any and all of your construction or home improvement needs. They put a new metal roof on my home for me. My roof was damaged in a storm and they replied back to me very quickly for a free estimate. They came out and did the work and were very efficient. They were very reasonably priced. They pay attention to the details in everything I saw them do . I did my research and looked at past projects of theirs . I was very impressed. Five stars for me.

Fryer Construction LLC. recently had the pleasure of working with Smith & Benningfield Construction LLC. As a construction business owner is can be difficult to find companies that will answer the phone when you call, show up on time, do quality work, and efficiently complete the task at hand. Smith & Benningfield Construction LLC. did a great job restoring a damaged property into a nice home and met all of our expectations on what we look for in a contractor. Thank you for your help, we look forward to working with you again in 2021!

It has been such a joy to have Smith and Benningfield Construction work on our home. Their team was incredible- friendly, professional, and trustworthy. We loved having them, and can honestly say that we missed having them around when they finished up. Their work is beautiful & so well crafted. They were efficient, timely, and talented. They went above and beyond in so many different aspects and treated us so well. While they were renovating our attic for us, they were also able to help with other things around the house that we ended up needing their help with. They took wonderful care of us, and we could never thank them enough. Our attic space turned out beautifully, they really put their best into what they do and the work they put forward is of the highest quality. We would recommend them to everyone who asks, they are absolutely the best. We will be loyal customers forever. Thank you all so much for everything that you did for us!

Jay and Mike finished a 900 square foot basement for me. Their work included framing, insulating, paint, flooring, and concrete removal / replacement. I was very pleased with the quality of work and responsiveness we received during our project. We would definitely use Smith and Benningfield again!
